Worked at re-creating Forest Schools Area logring. Scooped up shreddings to spread around inside. Cut up dead fallen tree and carted it off Depot corner to prevent access from that area.

The whole group dug In top soil in the new perennials bed at the lower lake and then looked for plants suitable for transplanting out of the Boothby bed and the Warriors Rest bed.

A dead tree had shed a main part of its trunk onto a spreading yew, flattening a large part of the yew below. Branches of the yew had been cut off by the gardeners. Volunteers removed the cut off branches, sawed them into smaller pieces and created a large ‘beastie’ pile around the trunk of […]

Cleared around the Lily lobe Lake pruning willows. Dead old growth on lake margins were cut and carried away.
