The gravel path around the performance area was fully cleared of grass and lichen and the area looks good now. All we need is a “performance” for the public. Any offers? 15 volunteers took part.

Edward Kemp Community Garden and Growing Area It was fantastic to be able to welcome Elleray Park School to the growing area. Sheila showed the pupils how to plant seeds and each one went home with a pot of peas to grow!

The volunteers cleared the gravel path around the performance are. Grass and lichen were scraped away from over 50% of the area.

Today 12 to 14 volunteers worked on the Boothby area of the park. Several areas were weeded, removing blackberry bushes and then covered with loose chippings. Part of the team levelled out soil in the area while, in another corner, a team began to cut down an area of bushes.
