8 volunteers cut back the overhanging braches around the performance area in between the rain showers. Glynn helped Paul fit out the Forest Schools shop in the Pyramids Shopping Centre.

Weeded and tidied the flower/plant beds in the Boothby Ground, near Park Road North/Duke Street junction. Marion and Pauline tidied the herb garden and were pleased to see that the herb sign had been installed.

The majority of the gang cut back the overhanging branches or weeded the bed (the montbretia one) by the lake in the upper park.  Others litter picked.  16 volunteers came.

Edward Kemp Community Garden and Growing Area Eleven volunteers worked hard in the heat today. Sheila gets excited over the patio scotch bonnets – look closely and you’ll see why! Sheila and Liz pick some produce. Jamie made new signs and burnt the writing on.

Weeded and tidied the big flower bed in the Boothby Ground. Helped the gang weed the big bed in the Boothby Ground.  Good company, fresh air, nice weather – felt good! – Scott

Finally!  Finished off the weeding around the cobbles at the Grand Entrance.  Everyone agreed that it was a job well done.  Twenty volunteers participated today with Marion continuing tidying up the herb garden and Rachel and Shama weeding the meadow.

18 volunteers turned up today and continued with the tidy up at the front of the Grand Entrance by removing the moss from between the cobbles.  Rachel and Marion worked on the herb garden.
