Litter picking in the upper and lower parks involving 3 people. The rest of the group were working by the Italian Lodge removing leaves. One volunteer was staffing the reception desk in the visitor centre.
Some volunteers litter picked and others pruned the bushes by the upper lake with the lovely new secateurs!
14 volunteers cleared weeds in the meadow and litter picked.
The volunteers were split into two groups with some people weeding the roadway to the Grand Entrance and some people clearing the cut grass by the meadow.

12 volunteers took part in clearing vegetation from around the figure of eight lake, litter picking and cutting back undergrowth. Pauline E and Marion worked on the herb garden.
Paul K planted yellow iris and gladioli (from Derby) in the volunteer bed. Ten volunteers cleared area from the figure of eight lake. Others did litter picking.
