Weeded one of the flower beds in the cavendish ground, others litter picked.

Group cleared up area in upper park east of the island. Cut down alder regrowth by edge of lake. The cuttings taken back by Paul and Paul for forest schools. Regrowth on open ground cut back by volunteers and small self seeded trees. Rhododendron and hollies also trimmed back.

Lee and Paul continued clearing rose bed, near performance ground, of ground elder roots. Rest of group clear logs, sawed up a blown down tree and tidied up in the forest school area (upper park).

Small number of volunteers (8). Clearing up by Swiss Bridge and coppicing willow for use by primary school. Most worked well but Paul and Glynn clocked off at 11.10am and Hill spent most of his time on mobile phone.

Cleared weeds from the rose bed in the upper park, cleaned up leaves, cut down ash saplings and litter picked.

Work took place beside the Lower Lake, at the slipway area at which weeding and cleaning was done around the shrubs and trees.
