Weeded the fern and long grass beds by the lower lake.

Weeded colssoot beds near the visitor centre. Sern beds by the lower lake. The group split into two parties. Marion washed part of garden.

Weeded up thistles and brambles around the upper lake. Weeded up some nettles as well. We were all working around the upper lake split into two groups.

Worked on lower lake. Clearing bracken and repairing damage caused by vandals who tried to dig steps in bank at edge of lake! Hairy job but bonus of retrieving one of the spades left by said vandals. About a dozen volunteers worked in lovely sunshine.

Most of the group helped clear a path near the forest schools area lopping overhanging branches, getting rid of brambles. Others litter picked.
