Visitors Centre 21 Nov 18

One group tidied beds near Visitors centre. Some volunteers went litter-picking and a smaller group started cutting back around the upper lake. There is still a lot of work to do here. Professor Lee came at lunchtime to thank the volunteers for their work.

Welcome back to the Friends Blog.  Sorry we have been away for quite a while but our volunteer managed to get himself a full time job.  Congratulations to Kearan.  Now we have a new volunteer Philip and he will be hopefully regularly updating our blog.    

Bedding Plants at Visitor Centre

Volunteers dug up all the bedding plants including gazenias from the beds in front of the Visitor Centre. The heritage gardeners came along with the flat bed truck to take away the plants and raked up weeds. Marion’s herb garden was tidied up.
