Paul re transplanted marguerites to where the anemones had been and vice versa in the warriors rest bed ensuring a sizeable collection of each species together. Rob, Marie and Eric collected holly for craft making at the Town Hall.

One group hoed and tidied the flower beds outside the visitor centre. A small group went and cut back overgrowth by the hump-back bridge and then worked on cricket pavilion and cut back brambles. One hardy volunteer went litter picking and discovered a new park resident pitched a tent by the British Legion club.

A group of four volunteers cut back stumps in a bed in the Edward Kemp garden. Stumps and stones were then stashed in the Forest Schools area.
